Neil has nearly 25 years of music performance experience with all types of ensembles, including drum and bugle corps. He studied at Roanoke College under former U.S. Army Pershing’s Own Band trombonist, Dr. Joseph Blaha, and taught in K-12 and higher education settings for many years. In 2022, he relocated to the PNW and regularly performs on trombone and euphonium. Neil is pursuing a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership.

KIDS ZONE - Fun stuff for kids and students!
The Festival is a GREAT place for families to bring their children - they can hear world class jazz music and see beautiful art. We also have some fun activities for children & students. Check out our "Clarinet Corral" where students can pick up and 'try out' a clarinet or other instrument. Or get creative with the "Musical Instrument Coloring Pages." Or, play a friendly game of Corn Hole, all at the Bravo! Concerts Northwest Information Booth. Check out our website about our new "Concerts For Kids" programs. Click HERE for more information.
Our Education Stage provides an opportunity for amateur musicians - of ALL ages - to perform at the Festival. This past year our nonprofit organization (Bravo! Concerts) started our "Concerts For Kids" program for elementary schools. If your company or organization wants to support our music education programs, please contact Artistic Director Dr. Michael Kissinger on our CONTACT page or call us at 360-906-0441.
